If you want to find out about local artists and places that feature art, this is where you look. Not only do we promote local artists and art, but also we allow artists to promote themselves right here in this section of the site. Are you a great artist that works in, lives in, and/or shows their artwork in Northwest Portland? If you are, then send us a biography about you, some pictures or videos of your work, upcoming events that might feature your work, and/or anything else related to your artwork. We will feature you on the website and give you great publicity. This part of PDXNorthwest.com is for local artists and artwork to be publicized to those viewing the website. People can use this website as a resource for finding out about great local art and artists in their neighborhood, and it can lead to many things. Publicity for the artist can lead to the artist becoming more known and successful in the community, and people that want to find out more about contemporary art and what local artists are doing in their community can access it all right here. Local artists can also meet one another and find out about one another on this section of the website, and hopefully it will lead to collaborative projects and art shows between the artists. Whatever type of art it may be, we will put it up here and the community will have access to it. We hope that this section of the website has great, positive affects for the artists and admirers of art in the community. We even have room to feature some artists on the homepage of the website! This is ideal for those that want the community to see what they have to offer, and it is a great way for people to find out about local art galleries in the area that may feature the work of the artists on this website.
