Isn’t it wonderful when you discover two things that you never thought would go well together but they actually do? The classic example of this is fried chicken and waffles, but there are other great ones out there such as peanut butter and bananas, as well. Well, Toast and Pho wants to add another unexpected combination to that list: breakfast and Vietnamese food. Yes, you’ve probably never seen those two together in one place before. The way that Toast and Pho works is that in the morning, it’s a breakfast joint, while the rest of the day it’s a Vietnamese restaurant.
The breakfast at Toast and Pho runs each morning until noon. In addition to the standard breakfast food you would expect from any brunch place worth its eggshells, you can also order coffee, espresso, or smoothies at Toast and Pho to go with your food. Toast and Pho has several plates that you can order for breakfast. There are a few different omelets and scrambles on the menu, along with eggs benedict. With those, you can also get hearty additions such as pancakes, waffles, and French toast.
Some of Toast and Pho’s Vietnamese food is served all day. You can order the Vietnamese appetizers and pho no matter what the time. If you want to pair cha gio, which are crispy spring rolls, with pancakes, go ahead and see if it will work. Pho actually would work as a pretty decent breakfast as, these noodle bowls are loaded with energy and good stuff such as bean sprouts and basil. Once the lunch and dinner hours kick in after noon, you can order even more rice and noodle dishes such as pad thai or rice with lemon grass chicken. At Toast and Pho, you can discover that sometimes opposites really do attract.
Toast and Pho is open daily from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
